nomnomnom
Really excited to be doing photo editing with AP on the new ipad pro. However, one thing that is stopping me from purchasing it is that I don't really understand what the workflow would be for photos. Where are you expected to store your RAW files for editing? Typically all my RAWs are imported into the computer for LR editing, do I now have to send it to the iPad somehow?
Staff MEB Posted June 19, 2017 Staff Share Posted June 19, 2017 Hi nomnomnom. Welcome to Affinity Forums :) The files can be opened/imported from Photos app on the iPad or from iCloud Drive or any other cloud service you might be using (Dropbox, Google Drive etc) as long as their respective apps are installed on the iPad. So to access the files you have to place them inside a folder on iCloud Drive, Dropbox etc on your PC/Mac, then on Affinity Photo for iPad select Import From Cloud (or Import from Photos if you are using it to store your RAW files). Check the video tutorial Opening, Saving & Exporting to get a better idea of how this works. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
