Using divide creates weird lines

Recommended Posts

I used to use divide a lot in illustrator to be able to get control over color an style of specific shapes instead of just using an overlay effect.....but using it in Designer it creates a lot of weird artifact lines and when dividing a larger amount of shapes Designer shuts down, most likely do to all the "artifact" layers it's trying to create.

I have added some screenshots - hope that helps.

Thanks for this report JRMeyer, I know that there are a few issues surrounding the Divide operation and I will try to look at this as soon as possible. I'm genuinely very sorry for any inconvenience it causes in the meantime - I'll certainly try to devote some time to sorting it out soon.

Thanks again,

Matt
