Frankentoon Studio
Hello there! I'm currently working on some brushes for a concept art project and I'm trying to create a 'sequenced' brush. Let me explain: I need a brush for drawing background trees, I've isolated like 4-6 trees to have some variation. I'm loading that images as brush nozzles, but they appear in random order (image below). It's something like: X X O X O X X X O X O X I NEED total control of this sequence, specially for more complex brushes I'm designing (6-8 nozzles). I mean, a straight sequence like this: X O X O X O X O X O X O Would be awesome to have the option for "Random" and "Linear (or something)" brush sequence. Would give MUCH MORE power to this multi-nozzle + texture brush engine :) Hope this makes sense. davemac2015 and StuartRc 2 Quote • Frankentoon Studio - Tutorials and Resources for Designer, Photo and Publisher Follow us on Instagram | Follow us on Twitter | Like us on Facebook
StuartRc
I like the concept! It would certainly improve the capability of the Brush Nozzles but may I extend the concept with the ability to re-order the sequenced Brush Nozzles after uploading. Currently you have to manually organise the sequence on import. Alfred
Currently you have to manually organise the sequence on import. Changing the import sequence doesn't have any obvious effect here. Instead, I seem to get a random selection of nozzles as Enrique has described. In Serif DrawPlus, the Spray brushes have a 'Texture Selection Controller' which allows the user to choose whether the nozzle is random, or dictated by pressure or sequence.
