[Fixed] Cannot move live lighting filter dialog box

Recommended Posts

Hello,

When trying to use the live lighting filter on any type of photo, the dialog box pops up on top of the image and I am not able to move it out of the way. This behavior does not occur when using the lighting filter from the filters menu. I can move that dialog box all over the place.

I can't figure out what i'm doing wrong. Can you help?

system specs as follows;

 lenovo laptop running win10 with an i7 quadcore 2.6ghz cpu, 16g ddr4 memory and a nvidia gforce graphics card with 4g of memory.

Hi Sharkfish,

Your Laptops resolution is 1920x1080, however you've got your Windows DPI zoom set to 150% I believe which is pushing the dialog out.

1. Could you press the Window Start Key and type the following: DPI

2. Click on 'Change the size of text, apps and other items'

3. On the dialog that appears scroll the right hand side until you find the label 'Change the size of text, apps and other items' and tell me what percentage is displayed please?

Yes that was it thank you!  I changed the value to the recommended setting and now it works like a charm.

However, the result makes everything difficult to read for my older eyes.

cheers!

Our minimum resolution for using the software at 150% is 1600 x 1024 which your resolution does meet so I will get it passed onto development - as you say it works ok when using the non Live Filter.
