Staff TonyB Posted June 15, 2017 Staff Share Posted June 15, 2017 Sorry but Text on a path isn't included in Affinity Photo. Affinity Designer does have the feature but isn't available for the iPad yet.
bjersey
Is this expected to be implemented in the future? Or if possible is there another way of curving text?
Staff MEB Posted August 17, 2017 Staff Share Posted August 17, 2017 Hi bjersey, Welcome to Affinity Forums No, as far as i know this is exclusive to Affinity Designer. You may want to try a Mesh Warp filter but it will rasterise the text (convert it to an image). I bought the app recently and my first thought after I bought the iPad Pro 10.5 is Affinity. Anyway, I'll just wait for AD. At least I have a Mac I can create these in AD. MichaelJA
If you have Autodesk Graphic you can do this then copy paste it to Photo and the text is editable by the fx section. As per the attachments. So far this is my work around for the iPad Pro. I wish to add that the font isn’t editable so try to figure out your needs and size prior to bringing over to Photo. The radius is editable by the corner selections though. DM1 1 Quote “The curses are not what they seem, prepare... they, too, have teeth.”
