pixelarte
I have just tried importing a raw file from my Fujifilm XT2 into Affinity Photo for IOS. I tried using iCloud Drive and Dropbox but all I get is a black screen. Does this mean the raw files from this camera are not supported? Staff MEB Posted June 13, 2017 Staff Share Posted June 13, 2017 Hi Richard, Only the uncompressed RAW format is supported. What format are you using? Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software | Affinity Quick Reference
pixelarte
Hi Richard, Only the uncompressed RAW format is supported. What format are you using? Just checked and unfortunately the camera is currently set to compressed. Will compressed be supported in the future?
Staff MEB Posted June 13, 2017 Staff Share Posted June 13, 2017 Hi Richard, Affinity Photo for iPad relies on iOS system level support - Apple (Core Image RAW) - to convert/process RAW's, so this depends on Apple, not on us. Here's the list of currently supported camera/RAW formats. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software | Affinity Quick Reference

But tried on windows version and it's working causing me thinking X-T2 raw files is support across platforms. Do I Get a refund if I decided not to use Affinity Photos. Just got it today. Staff MEB Posted July 14, 2017 Staff Share Posted July 14, 2017 Hi Suun, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Affinity Photo for iPad only supports uncompressed X-T2 RAW files. Check your camera settings. You are probably using the compressed format. Affinity Photo for iPad relies on iOS system level support - Apple (Core Image RAW) - to convert/process RAW's, so we depend on Apple updates to add support for the compressed RAW format. The desktop versions (Win and Mac) use own own RAW engine (Serif Labs) which supports both compressed and uncompressed variants.. Sunn
Hi MEB. X-T2 raw uncompressed files is 50 MP/file at max resolution. It will be pain in the ass to transfer over wifi. Regards
