Rubyjim
When creating borders on the edge of photos using "Outline" inside or center I only get a border on the left and right. What I'm I doing wrong?
Rubyjim
I have since found out this only happens to photo's that have been cropped. Chris B
Staff Chris B Posted June 13, 2017 Staff Share Posted June 13, 2017 Hey Rubyjim, It seems to be working fine for me. Does this happen with multiple file types? I assume you are just opening an image and not placing one? Are you using any raw images? If it only happens with a specific image, can you attach it please? Staff MEB Posted June 13, 2017 Staff Share Posted June 13, 2017 Hi Rubyjim, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) You probably have cropped the document first, which means the hidden data is still there (Affinity Photo's Crop Tool in non-destructive) and the outline becomes invisible since its outlining the whole image - including the cropped parts. To get rid of the hidden data, right-click the layer in the Layers panel and select Rasterise.... You can then apply the outline as usual. Ah okay - I think we have a record of this so I'll track it down and bump it. You can work around this by exporting the image out and importing it again or rasterizing the layer.
