tarc
Hi, Really liking the software, great work. Would it be possible to preserve simple linear or circular gradient while exporting to PDF ? Some clients require AI files, and while I like affinity more than illustrator for creating artwork, there is no export option retaining vector gradients in CMYK mode. -Tarc
Staff Lee D Posted June 13, 2017 Staff Share Posted June 13, 2017 Hi Tarc, A new feature being tested in our Affinity Designer 1.6 beta is vector export of multi-stop gradients. If you already own Affinity Designer for Mac, you can download and install the beta alongside the purchased version from here.

tarc
Hi Lee, It doesn't appears to work in the Beta, objects appears as <Non-Native Art> in illustrator. -Tarc
Staff Lee D Posted June 14, 2017 Staff Share Posted June 14, 2017 I need a quick test with a shape and a gradient fill, imported into Ai and the gradient can be edited. When exporting to PDF, try changing the Rasterise option to Nothing. But if you do find anything in the beta, please post in the beta forum for the guys to look into.
