Photo not release storage after use

Recommended Posts

I have Affinity photo running on a 9.7 iPad Pro.

I've edited a few images and have now saved/exported them and removed them from the library in Affinity. However, in iOS settings is still shows Photo with 1.81gb of Documents & Data.

Hi mrplowinc

I shall take it it was 1.81GB before  any files are being deleted? I've look at the data before and after deleting files it is reducing for me going from around 1GB to 140MB. do you know the original of the files, where they imported from a cloud drive or added through photos?

Cheers

Just tried deleting a few files and saw a corresponding drop in apps used storage. So seems to be working for me.

For some people works for other don't, sometimes to me even happened that the used space didn't grow up when importing new files..
