Hi Stefan,

This is better placed in Questions, so I'm moving your post to that forum.

I can't say for sure as I'm not too familar with PowerPoint but I think PDF would probably be your best bet to retain editable objects and text.

Hi Stefan,

My own process using Affinity Publisher:

- either export the PPT to PDF and open the file, or just cut and paste content,

- unzip the PPTX file (sic), delete all except the ppt/media folder.

- replace integrated images by links to the images inside this folder.
