Horst Freigang
Hi guys! First I must say that I am surprised how good Affinity Photo runs on an iPad Air 2. Good work! Second I must say that I am surprised that one cannot import images from the photos app when creating a new panorama or stack or Focus merge or HDR merge. My only choices are iCloud Drive, Documents by Readdle and Dropbox. Is that an oversight on your part or was that made on purpose or did I miss something? Thanks! Staff Leigh Posted June 8, 2017 Staff Share Posted June 8, 2017 Welcome to the forums horst_freigang :) You didn't miss anything - a few users have also noticed this too. We've logged this with our developers to be improved.
Horst Freigang
Okay, great! And when they're working on it ... maybe they could implement that one doesn't has to import the images one by one as it is right now? Just asking. mcoyne
I have over 100+ apps for photo editing. I have never before encountered an app purportedly dedicated to image editing that will not allow importing photos from the camera roll for some of its key operations, e.g panorama stitching, merging to HDR, etc.. This needs to be rectified ASAP. Please make this a priority! In the meantime, potential buyers should be made aware of this limitation in the app description. Not everyone stores their images in the cloud, and many will want to work on images without connecting to the internet.
