camloken
I've been using Illustrator since version 1.0 and they still don't have a good way of creating tables. You don't know how useful this is until you've had to create a table in Illustrator by hand. Create a table tool and have your basic cell alignment tools (especially vertical centering). You could also add cell spacing, padding, and cell merging. Also allow users to export it with all the styles to HTML (you could also convert it to <div> tags to future proof yourself). Now that would be useful and Adobe doesn't even have this feature.
Staff TonyB Posted January 15, 2015 Staff Share Posted January 15, 2015 Tables will be a feature of Affinity Publisher. Once created the tables can also be loaded and manipulated in Designer. ronnyb
camloken
Awesome! This seems like a small thing, but I'm sure many people besides myself will find it very useful. If you've ever tried to do interface design without a table tool you would realize how tedious this can be.
