annmiller1949
Can you please tell me how to commit changes I make in a persona before moving to another persona? I have looked everywhere and I can't find it. I keep getting a message asking me if I'm sure I want to leave a persona before committing to the changes but I can't see a way to commit. Thank you. jhoy
Hi annmiller1949 At the bottom of the app there will be a small context bar with small round type buttons develop, cancel and split.
annmiller1949
I just used the liquidy tool. When I tried to switch persona, it asked me if I was sure I wanted to switch since I had uncommitted changes. There was no small context bar at the bottom to confirm. What am I missing? I'm using it on my iPad Pro.
Staff MEB Posted June 6, 2017 Staff Share Posted June 6, 2017 Hi annmiller1949, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) You have to change to the View Tool (hand icon) to see the context toolbar @jhoy is referring to. annmiller1949 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software | Affinity Quick Reference
annmiller1949
Thank you so much! This has been so frustrating. Perhaps this should be included in a tutorial.
nlarsen619
Seriously, it sounds stupid but for something so simple you would think that somewhere in the extensive tutorials they would have mentioned this. I was driving myself crazy after watching all of the tutorials and still...nothing. Not even in the "opening and Saving" tutorial. I would definitely either include this in said tutorials or leave the context toolbar down below so it is intuitive......Almost every program I have used you can access a save feature from any screen. Otherwise, I am excited for an ipad app that has some serious potential for photographers and artists annmiller1949
