Kalyori Posted June 6, 2017 Share Posted June 6, 2017 I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I'm a bit confused here. I've created a 80x40 width blue rectangle and hit create symbol. Then I've got the text art tool and written "Home" on top of it and then grouped the two together. After that, I duplicate the group. But when I change the colour of the rectangle in the symbol, sometimes it only affects itself or a few of the duplicates. I think I've noticed this happen most often when I make a duplicate and then select it and then duplicate that. "Sync" is (and has always been) turned on, and I can confirm that the rectangle symbol exists in each of the three groups. It works perfectly if I drag the symbol from the symbol panel and then put text on it and group it, but for some reason sometimes my duplicates aren't always in sync. Any idea what's going on here?
