pjwuebker
My current needs is to open some vector files, enlarge them and then export as png. When I open an svg file do I lose the vectors? It appears to be pixel based. Thank you
toltec
No. It stays as a vector if it was a vector to start with. It might depend on if it is a very complex file or not. I did this simple fill as an experiment using an imported SVG vector and then turning it into a mask. It is still a vector because I can still adjust the edges with the pen tool. or it is still a vector in Affinity Photo. I exported it as a JPEG to post it. BTW, you haven't said which software program or which platform. I have assumed Affinity Photo. Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.
