Sa Talaia des Romaní
Hello, my question is about the possibility of transform the perspective of one individual object into a picture, not to the hole picture. Anybody knows If it is possible? Thanks a lot!
toltec
I am not 100% sure what you mean without seeing it but You could select something and put it on a layer first before using the perspective tool on just that, You could use the Mesh Warp tool. You can draw nodes and move just one small area. So yes you can. Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.
Staff MEB Posted June 1, 2017 Staff Share Posted June 1, 2017 Hi Sa Talaia des Romaní, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Although the Perspective Tool or the Live Perspective filter can be used to do this - change the perspective of a paint on the wall for example (if I understood your question correctly) - they aren't able to give you a geometrically correct result when "straightening" it. Currently you can only do it "visually" which will lead to inevitable distortion compared to the ratio of the real object. I believe there's already a few requests for this in the Feature Requests section which you can bump adding your comment/request to the existing thread(s) but fill free to open a new one if you don't find any.
