Gizbo
Hi all, I opened a RAW from a Nikon D800 on Affinity Photo and Photoshop, and i can see some differences visualizing image, i can see more detail when i open the same raw on Photoshop (lips and right hair) Could you tell me why it happens? I didn't make any changes on Develop Persona/Camera Raw. In the link you can see the screenshots and war file. https://1drv.ms/f/s!All6oe01iwmf0hxM0fUOcZtOuP2P
Staff MEB Posted May 28, 2017 Staff Share Posted May 28, 2017 Hi Gizbo, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) The difference in sharpness you are seeing is mostly because we don't apply any sharpening to the image by default (contrary to other RAW converters/developers or the JPG's processed by the camera which do apply some sharpening). Go to the Details tab, check/tick Detail Refinement and adjust the sliders to match the result you get in other software. You may also try to increase the Clarity slightly in the Basic tab.
