andreacaliendi
Would be great to have some function for create in real time specular shapes. If for example I have to create a spaceship or other technical shapes, like this example or this Maya have some similar function, so as I tested you should be able to decide when the function is on and off, as you can create all the structure with this method, and for example decide to change some vectorial particular to one of the sides. Staff MEB Posted May 24, 2017 Staff Share Posted May 24, 2017 Hi andreacaliendi, This can already be achieved using Symbols. If you create a symbol from say a rectangle, then drag another instance to the canvas, flip it horizontally and align with the first, all objects you then place/create inside of any of the symbol layers will be replicated on the other. You can also use four symbol instances instead of two to create the example on the right: just flip them horizontally and vertically and adjust their positions as necessary. k410 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

Staff MEB Posted May 24, 2017 Staff Share Posted May 24, 2017 Hi ChrisMoon, The Astute Graphics plugins use Adobe Illustrator SDK and were developed with its feature/tools in mind. Since there's no feature parity between Affinity Designer and Illustrator there's no way to translate them to our program.
