PeteAxford
Is there a work around to stop inverted shapes that have been converted into text frames from turning the text placed in them displaying upside down? I want to create a Trapeze that is wider at the top than the bottom, see my workflow here: There must be a way to make this shape without it becoming 'upside down'? Thanks in advance :)
Staff MEB Posted May 23, 2017 Staff Share Posted May 23, 2017 Hi PeteAxford, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Yes, it's a little weird. I will raise it with the dev team. Thanks for your feedback. Meanwhile to work around this you can either draw the shape from scratch with the Pen tool using the nodes of the existing shape as a reference or alternatively draw a rectangle bigger than the existing shape, select both shapes and go to menu Layer ▸ Geometry ▸ Intersect, then convert the resulting shape to a text frame.
