A_B_C
Hi everybody, I do not know if it is appropriate to post this here, but I would like to make a suggestion which might ease some of my headaches when reporting bugs. (Working on a more complex design, I noticed some glitches of the layers list in the latest Beta on OS X Lion, but since I was not able to reproduce them in some regular way, I was not confident enough to add them to the bugs list. And this brought up the following idea in my mind.) When you search this forum for keywords like "layers" and the like, you will find a lot of posts and bug descriptions. But since these descriptions are provided by different people, there are naturally different styles of reporting, and I must confess, that I’m sometimes not quite sure if a bug I have discovered (or believe to have discovered) is comprehended under a description already given by another community member. Thinking this issue over this morning, I wondered whether it is possible to search for all known and logged bugs on this forum. Is there a way to do this? And if it should not be possible, I would find it very handy if there was list comprising all known and logged bugs (together with a standard description) for the app store and the current Beta version of AD ... I don’t know if this is feasible at all or if anyone besides me is interested in such a list, but since I have reported some bugs in the past, that had been logged already (and other users have done this too), I feel a bit guilty about stealing the developers’ time when this happens again ... :( Just an idea, cheers, Alex :)
Chris Van Cleve
I would love to see Serif adopt a publicly accessible bug tracker of some kind. It would cure a lot of the confusion and duplicate reporting. (Well, I hope anyway). A_B_C 1 Quote Journey forth my friend, by body if needs be... Hokusai
That would be a great idea, it would help a lot (in my opinion).
