R C-R Posted May 22, 2017 Share Posted May 22, 2017 I don't know if it would work with Windows but on Macs you have three options for creating Swatches palettes: Application, Document, & System. The last one (System) appears in the Apple Color Picker & in any apps that support the Apple Color Picker method of picking colors. The name of the palette & its colors are whatever you assign to them during creation. So for example, as a test I made a simple six color palette for the three fully saturated primary RGB & secondary CMY colors (in RGB color space) & named it "Affinity Swatches 1." I named the colors "Pure Red," "Pure Cyan," & so on. In supported apps it looks like this: I only have Anime Studio Pro 9, which unfortunately does not support using the Apple Color Picker, so if v11 is the same you will have to use some kind of workaround like exporting a small tiff of colored squares using your palette's colors & using that with Studio Pro's "Custom image" option in its colors palette. Just so you know, user created custom system color palettes are stored in the ~/Library/Colors folder (your home folder's library folder) with the extension .clr. They can be created directly in the Apple Color Picker as explained here, but it is (slightly) easier to do this in Affinity.
