Petar Petrenko
Hi, thanks for the great upgrade. I really love what you add in, but I would like to ask for a litle improvement on the Glyph Bowser. Please, add the option in the browser to automatically recognize the selected font and font style instead of the default one (Arial). A_B_C
(I am pretty sure the Glyph browser remembers the font which had been previously selected in the browser itself, but aside from that, I would second your request, Petar … :))
A_B_C
In some contexts, it would also be cool to have an info panel at the bottom of the browser window, that displays the current glyph properties (name, unicode point, metrics). Yes, I know we can read off the first two of the mentioned properties from the tooltip, but it would be convenient if we would not have to wait that second for the tooltip to appear. In general, I don’t like tooltips for information other than Help texts … Does that make sense? :) Alex
A_B_C
Aaaaaand … it would be great if we could drag a glyph from the glyph browser to a text frame or to the canvas … ^_^ Busenitz

Busenitz
Aaaaaand … it would be great if we could drag a glyph from the glyph browser to a text frame or to the canvas … ^_^ I really miss this from CorelDRAW. Maybe I am missing something, I'm not even getting copy/paste..... does it just show me my options better?
Alfred
I really miss this from CorelDRAW. Maybe I am missing something, I'm not even getting copy/paste..... does it just show me my options better? Double-clicking works for me in the Windows versions. A_B_C
No, the Glyph Browser doesn't change the font and font style when you select glyph(s). I meant to say that the Glyph Browser remembers the last font you had selected in the *Glyph Browser’s* internal font drop down … and yes, double clicking obviously works … otherwise a Glyph Browser would be rather useless … I mean, I like glyphs, but … ;)
A_B_C
Oh, I just saw that some of our ideas have been mentioned elsewhere … https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/40178-affinity-photo-customer-beta-16-beta-1/?p=201189 I must say I like Frank Johnen’s idea of a checkbox that will toggle between the currently selected font and an independent display of font glyphs … :)
