Please attach the original file for us as an attachment. This is an early beta and there will be teething problems that need ironing out.

Thank you, it works for me. the low resolution preview version is replaced very quickly on my machine with the high res equivalent. We must find out why this is not the case for you.

If you wait does it recover and draw the full resolution version or does that never happen?

Hi all,

Downloaded your File and tried to reproduce the Problem.

Sorry but for me it works fine without observing any problems.

Have you checked for the latest Gaphic Card driver?

I attached a screenshot at 300%

Hi,

Happens on my PC too, with both GPU's. Never recovers.

Both Develop & Photo Persona's seems to be associated with image size as 5DsR & Fuji X100T don't recover.

Reproducible here in 1.6.0.70 beta but not in release build 1.5.2.69. My modest system uses Intel HD 4400 graphics (integrated into the processor circuitry).

Exactly the same problem here. At 100% in Affinity 1.5.2 final, PS CC, Paintshop Pro X9, Dxo Optics Pro 11 there is no pixellation. Only in both Beta 70 and 71.

Hi guys,

I've reproduced this on my machine and believe it only occurs when using Windows at 125, 150 and 175% DPI. I can't reproduce it when I set it to 100 or 200%.

Newty,

Could you confirm what Windows DPI setting you are using? If you are using 125-175% could you try 100 or 200% and see if that solves the issue please? In the meantime I've passed it onto development.

I'm using a display setting of 125%, but Dave Quail reported (at the bottom of the previous page of this thread) seeing exactly the same problem at 100%. detective.gif

Based on what Dave has said in his reply in another thread, I believe his post on the page prior to this is referring to the zoom level of the document and not Windows Display scaling. detective.gifdetective.gif
