Prof. Jewell Posted May 18, 2017 Share Posted May 18, 2017 Affinite Photo 1.5 (trial) will not install..claims, FALSELY, Windows 7 SP1 Platform Update not installed. I have twice followed your instructions, downloaded it from Microsoft and when I start to install the update, it stops immediately and says that the update is already installed and will go no further. Butler To Cats Posted May 18, 2017 Share Posted May 18, 2017 Did it ask you to restart your computer after installing the platform update? If not, try restarting. Note: there are a limited set of computers models that have a hybrid combination of on-board Intel and AMD video hardware that might lead to a Windows 7 crash when restarted after the platform update is installed.
