aznewt
It must be so obvious that i don't see it. On one layer, I would like to have a map. On another layer I would like to have an "X" marks the spot circle where there is an upper case 'X', that is red, in the exact center of a circle (round ellipse) that is green. I can put an 'X' in a circle and make the X be red, but for the life of me, i can't make the circle be green. Any help would be appreciated. Staff Lee D Posted May 18, 2017 Staff Share Posted May 18, 2017 Hi aznewt, Welcome to the forums. Select the ellipse on the Layers panel, on the Context toolbar above the document will be an option for Fill & Stroke. When you select one of these a dropdown panel will appear for you to set a colour.
Butler To Cats
Hi aznewt, and welcome to the forum! If you are using a hollow ellipse, with the ellipse selected, you need to make sure you are selecting the outline colour, not the fill colour, and make sure the stroke has some visible width. Conversely, if you are using a filled (solid) ellipse, you need to make sure you are changing the fill colour, not the outline colour. Ha! Ninja'd by Lee while I was editing and screen capturing. :D Lee D
