AD: Redraw Lines (Request)

Recommended Posts

I don't think there was a request for this yet, and that is the option to redraw vector lines instead of always having to select the Node Tool and make the adjustments that way. Illustrator does have an option to do that, but it's not in my opinion as intuitive as another program. Here, the line updates as you draw over it. You can also edit how much of the line you want to have changed.

The website is still a work in progress. The "Comics" and "Shop" sections are not yet ready. Feel free to connect with me and let me know what you like or what can be improved. You can contact me here, on my contact page, YouTube channel, or Twitter account. Thanks and have a great day!

I'm not sure whether this request is along the same ... er ... lines. (Sorry!)

Huh...there are so many topics, it can get hard to keep track. And I didn't know Corel could do that.

Illustrator's pencil tool has the ability to redraw lines to get better correction. Or, for instance, you need to change the post more dramatically, or you need to continue the same line with pressure sensitivity, etc. Affinity has no option to do this. If you're working with pressure, you need to complete the line in one go. Editing minor stuff is easy, but you can't extend a current line or redraw it with pressure. You either have to attempt making one good solid line, which is painful, or manually create and join several lines and adjust the pressure to match the style of the rest of the drawing... which is also very painful.
