FFHMark
My Eraser Tool is missing from both the Tools Panel as well as the Customize Tools selections. Is this a bug or did I somehow delete it completely from AD? I'm pretty sure I saw It in my original setup a few months ago. (OK, I see there is some discussion on this in the forums. I'm assuming Eraser works like a knife tool to split vector paths, not a pixel eraser.)

Staff MEB Posted January 6, 2015 Staff Share Posted January 6, 2015 Ok. There´s only one Erase Brush Tool, and it belongs to the Pixel Persona. It is a raster eraser. If you use it over an image or rasterised object it will delete the pixels directly. If you use it over a vector object it will automatically create a mask and hide the parts you "painted" over. It doesn't split the vector object or alter its path as Adobe Illustrator do. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
FFHMark
OK, thanks for the information. Hopefully a vector knife or scissors tool is on the roadmap. One with constraining option for a straight slice through several paths. Keep up the great work!
