My1
There are some things which always are the same on every artboard. wouldnt it be possible to allow linking those so changes that occur to one of them directly get mirrored to the other one? Bento
Symbols is a feature of Affinity Designer. They exist so that we can use them for... let's say you are creating ux/ui design, for a eshop website. You'll probably need to change list view of products but you don't want to modify each bloc (to change the color of a button or change the image of the product). So you should use Symbols (wich work trough every artboard of your document), as well as constrain (another feature) to relatively place object from it's parent. So when you need to change anything on a symbol you just edit one of them, it will apply everywhere (for more détails check youtube or just google it) Just a quick example : Step one Step 2 : Cheers ! jezekjan 1 Quote Art Director at Tribu And Co | French web agency - See our work at http://www.tribu-and-co.fr
My1
okay this feature is awesome (as soon as you find out how to create a symbol :-) ) especially nice is that the affinity team thought a bit and lets the user essentially just select a layer group and make that into an icon instantly Thanks.
