giantlobsterprd
Quick illustration I did for Instagram self-promo. Playing with the isometric grid. Good times. jer
Wonderful! Isometric always gets my attention and you have done, if I remember right, a few other great-looking pieces. Sometimes isometric can fool the eyes, eg, in the case of how the tram track coincides with the top of the building sign. Makes it appear the tram is also riding the top of the sign. In ortho this would be less noticeable or an easier adjustment, than in iso. It's another thing that makes iso fun. James Rodriguez
Pretty cool. How about a shadow from those 2 street lamps on the lower left? They're in daylight and all other objects are casting shadows. Details, details. B) Quote https://www.behance.net/jimmyrodriguez
GarryP
If we're being picky there are a few places where the shadows aren't as I would have expected but I don't think it really matters. It's a lovely bit of art that looks great. It casts a very large shadow over my own isometric work. (Not sure which emoji to use here. Is there one for "sorry about the bad pun"?) If you can't find anything better, Garry, I suppose you could use this one: Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.4.1 (iPad 7th gen)
GarryP
Thanks Alfred. Seems like a reasonable option.
