maloushe Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Hi, I'm loving Affinity Designer - I'm used to engineering solid modelling packages and was a dab hand at CorelDraw from my school days, but could never get what I want out of Mac vector software until Affinity Designer came along. Great work. :) I have an(other) EPS export problem - see the attached. Exporting to EPS seems to shift the whole graphics up and to the left. Opening the EPS in Affinity Designer, OS X preview, iDraw etc. gives the exact same results, so it seems to be an issue with the exported file. Is this a known issue? p.s. If you haven't already, you should have a look at some of the 2D drawing tools tools in something like Solid Edge 2D (http://www.plm.automation.siemens.com/en_gb/products/solid-edge/free2d/index.shtml). Some of them would be very useful for particular kinds of work in Affinity Designer. std_mockup.afdesign std_mockup.eps
Staff MEB Posted January 6, 2015 Staff Posted January 6, 2015 Hello maloushe, Welcome to Affinity Forums. I believe you're using the MAS version. This issue way fixed on one of the latest betas that uses a rewritten EPS exporter. You can get the latest beta here and install it alongside your MAS version. They don't interfere each other. maloushe Posted January 6, 2015 Author Posted January 6, 2015 Hi MEB, Thanks, that's great. Yes, I was using the MAS v1.1.2. I've just tried the Beta, and the EPS export now works as expected. Many thanks for your help.
