gabriel2112
Hi If I buy Affinity Photo now will I get all future updates or will i have to pay for them each time a major update is released? I'm fairly sure from some research it's the latter but I just want to make absolutely sure. Cheers Gabriel :)
Staff MEB Posted May 8, 2017 Staff Share Posted May 8, 2017 Hi Gabirel, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) You only have to pay for major upgrades (v2, v3, etc). All minor updates are free. gabriel2112 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software | Affinity Quick Reference

Hey MEB, thanks for the fast reply. How often do major upgrades appear?
Butler To Cats
Hi Gabriel Mac version 1.0 (well, the first beta, anyway) of Affinity Photo was released in February 2015. Windows version was released November 2016, and both platforms were brought up to version 1.5 (using the same core code). So far, we (as users) are looking forward to the 1.6 release (along the lines of "it will be released when it's ready"). I suspect there is no official release date planned yet for v1.7, let alone v2, so I don't think there can be an official answer for you. gabriel2112
