iMac1943
Take a square but instead of filling the square with black, I want to fill it with dots. I must be able to choose the size of the dots. I think that is named rasterize. How can I do this in AD? Thanks for helping me
Staff Lee D Posted May 5, 2017 Staff Share Posted May 5, 2017 Hi iMac1943, Rasterizing will convert your vector shape into a bitmap. If you want to be able to have custom sized dots inside a square. You may want to create the dots using duplicate, check out this video.
gdenby
Hi, iMac1943, Rasterization is different. Rasterization turns vector objects into a pixel bitmap thru a process called rasterization. What you want, it you want individual dots is to either create an array of vector dots placed within the parent vector, or use a bitmap fill. For the bitmap, do a search on B&W ben day dots. AFAIK, AD doesn't output patterns like that.
