Timber
When i close an Affinity document, either Photo or Designer, if there have been changes, it prompts if I want to save it. That's fine and expected, but then after saving, it doesn't close, I have to select "Close" again. Seems to me the expected behavior would be to Ask - Save - then it would Close. Is this the way it should be? Does anyone else think the way I do on this? Not a big thing, but it seems counter-intuitive to tell it to Close twice. R C-R
What you expect is standard behavior for Macs. I also think it should work that way. It is standard on Windows as well, and it works as expected here. Alfred
It is standard on Windows as well, and it works as expected here. It works as expected here, too. If it doesn't work the same way on a Mac, then surely that is a bug? R C-R
I don't know if it is a bug or not, but if I make a change to an Affinity document & then try to close it without first saving it, I get the standard message about unsaved changes with Save, Don't Save, & Cancel buttons. Clicking the Save button saves the document but does not then close it. The Don't Save button closes it without saving & the Cancel button returns me to the document. MikeW
If it is coded for the present behavior then it's not a bug but rather as the OP calls it, unexpected behavior.
Fixx
Other Mac apps close document after save, Affinity does not. Seems a minor bug (or misbehaviour).
