DiebeMedia_nl
I probably am doing something wrong... but what? When resizing an document (photo) and saving it as jpg the pixels become hazed, blurred, seemingly unsharp especially when zooming ... i never had that problem with PS or PSE but I always have it with AP
Staff Lee D Posted April 24, 2017 Staff Share Posted April 24, 2017 Hi DiebeMedia_nl, Welcome to the forums. Whats the original size of the image and what size are you're resizing to? Are you choosing to Resample, if so which option?
DiebeMedia_nl
It appears to be in the resample options turned on or off ... I am still struggling with the (epic) fail that AP automatic turns photo's into 72 dpi as if the photo's worked on are only publicized on monitors pre 2001 instead of ready for professional printing first. Staff Lee D Posted April 27, 2017 Staff Share Posted April 27, 2017 If after exporting you're viewing the EXIF data and it's showing as 72DPI. On the Export window, click More and uncheck Embed metadata and then export, the DPI will then be what the document is set to.
pruus
If you make an export smaller, then try to use other settings. For smaller sizes, try to set the resampling tot Lanczos 3(separable) or Lanczos 3(non-seperable). the last is slower. If you want to export a bigger size, then Bilinear is preferred.
