Is it possible to add a hyperlink to an image

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I want to add clickable hotspots to an image Jpeg, Gif or Png to access webpages. I know one can do this via HTML, however I am having to use a CMS where I cannot access the HTML and only upload images.

I think this is possible with Photshop, see: http://smallbusiness.chron.com/add-photoshop-53701.html

However I am not sure if this is possible with Affinity Designer or Photo. I have both.

Thoughts appreciated.

Thanks,

Edward

It's not the image itself which contains the links - it's the associated HTML or XHTML which contains an image map.  If you can't upload anything other than an image there's no way you can make it clickable.

1) Is Publisher available for Windows?

2) When is this mod likely to be implemented?

3) Is this possible within the legacy applications?

Whether you use Publisher when it becomes available, or the legacy applications now, what Ian said still stands:
