Hi,

How you get the text inline within a cube created with Affinity Designer?

I can't find out why I cannot put a text inlined within a cube.

I tried it with subtract, note... but that doesn't work at the the same time if I select them both.

Perspective is not available

Hi ray2010,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

I'm not sure i understood your question. You want to place text over the faces of a cube and are trying to distort the text to match the perspective of each cube's faces?

Currently there's no distortion tools in Designer. You have to distort the text manually, using skewing and editing the nodes of the letters manually to fit the perspective of the cube.

If you have Affinity Photo you can switch to it (menu File ▸ Edit in Photo...) apply a live perspective filter(s) there to distort the text on each face of the cube and switch back to Affinity Designer. Note that filters rasterize the text objects when exporting the file. I didn't get what you meant with "subtract" so i may be oof. If you could post a similar example/image of what you are trying to achieve we may be able to advise you better.
