Affinity Photo will not produce the copyright symbol

Recommended Posts

It seems to work OK in Ariel, Calibri etc. Are you using a specific font?

Note that symbol fonts like wingdings don't use the standard codes.

My version of Magneto (assuming the same font) works in AD--I don't have Affinity Photo.

If you open that font in Windows Character Map, can you use Windows Character Map to copy it, does it then paste into AP?

Sean, the codepoint in that version is correct.

Did you try the Windows version of AD? It works here on a US install using the English (US) Keyboard (didn't try other keyboards).

Hi Mike,

It was indeed the Windows version I was using, however I've since tried again and it seems to be working as intended so I'm not entirely sure what happened. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the font again with Affinity running and it is working as expected, so not entirely sure what happened this morning!
