Artboard size and Exporting the same Artboard get wrong Pixels

Recommended Posts

Designer 1.5.2.58

When I have an Artboard 851x315 pixels and Exporting this the Pixels change to 852x315 pixels. It's important to fix that bug it comply the Artboard dimensions.

It's a very big problem when uploading to Facebook.

Please fix that,

Poul Erik

Hi Poul Erik,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

The artboard coordinates (X,Y) aren't probably integer values. Please go to Affinity Designer Preferences, User Interface section and change the Pixels drop down to 6 in the Decimal Places for Unit Types section, then with the problematic artboard layer selected got to the Transform panel and check the  (X,Y) coordinates. Delete /fix the decimal places so they are integer values and try to export again. To prevent this from happening make sure you have Force Pixel Alignment enabled from the beginning (menu View ▸ Snapping Manager...).

recently had this issue making banner ads with everyone having a white bar on one or two of the edges. Fixing the X/Y coords fixed it but i shouldn't have to do that to fix that, OR have to explain it to every co-worker as the "trick to export right".
