Shamley Green
In the Develop Mode I press the Split View icons but the screen halves are entitled After on the left side and Before on the right side. I find this strange and confusing because ( as an English speaker) we are used to saying Before and After. Can it be adjusted so the left half is Before and the right half is After ? Staff MEB Posted April 16, 2017 Staff Share Posted April 16, 2017 Hi Shamley Green, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) No, currently there's no way to change the order. I'm moving this thread to the Feature Requests section. matthiasbasler
+1 This is the first image processing software I know which puts the result on the left hand side. I also found this alienating. Of course, one gets used to this, but still I consider it a valid change request (or request for a preferences setting to switch sides). LilleG
Yes, please. This is another of those little not-normal-practice things that momentarily disconcert...every time you encounter them.
Alfred
The best solution would be to let the user choose. In Split View mode in Affinity Designer we can choose between vector view, pixel view, retina pixel view and outline view, and we can swap them around at will.
