Celtic knot not working. :(

Recommended Posts

I think you need to edit the curves to make sure there's a proper overlap between the shapes that you want to add.

Can anyone please confirm if this is a bug or is it something that I'm doing wrong in Affinity designer.

I have included a picture to show the steps and issue I seem to be having when I use the Add feature.

Thanks

Rob

Hi Robchoc,

I have the same problem as you with the Celtic knot. To remedy this, after the "Add" operation, you can duplicate each colored part, paste it on itself and bring the thickness of the line to zero.

Note: The black border of the other three (lower) color shapes must be very thin, otherwise offsets will appear at the overlapping locations.

This method is not perfect!
