WhiteCrow
HelloOne question: where is the tool for parallelogram -geometric shape (for drawing of a "3d" box or cubes)? Thanks and best regards *.crow
Guest
Hi WhiteCrow, There is no direct tool to draw a cube. You can do this by displaying the isometric grid: "View" menu, "Grid and axis manager". You can then choose and set the type of grid you want. You then draw three squares (for a cube) that you place on the grid by deforming them with the double arrows that appear when you approach the pointer from the center point of the sides. Alfred
deforming them with the double arrows that appear when you approach the pointer from the center point of the sides You can also use the S control in the Transform panel to skew the selected object(s). WhiteCrow
@_@no simple lines... no simple parallelogram ?Older its better (Harvard Designer -> later Serif Designer). :( BIG thanks.
Alfred
Of course you can draw lines, and (as discussed here) you can easily skew a rectangle to turn it into a parallelogram. If by "Serif Designer" you mean DrawPlus, then it also lacks a parallelogram QuickShape, so you have to skew a rectangle as in Affinity Designer. DrawPlus does have a Quick Cube, but as it uses 3D parallel projection it's no good if you want vanishing-point perspective.
