Open Gimp xcf files in Affinity Photo=

Hello,

I use GIMP at the moment and I want to try the 10 day trial version of AP and AD.

 

Is it possible to open or import my .xcf files? I have text, images and shapes in it.

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

No, Affinity Photo/Designer doesn't support .xcf files. You have to export from Gimp in another format (like PSD or PDF) and import into Affinity apps.

Hi, I have the same question but if it is possible today: open or import .xcf (Gimp) or .kra (Krita) files with Affinity publisher.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

No, that's not possible. You will need to export to a different format to use them with any of the Affinity applications, as mentioned above.
