Staff MEB Posted April 11, 2017 Staff Share Posted April 11, 2017 Hi whbsbb, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Go to the Swatches panel on the top right of the interface (after the Colours panel), click on the dropdown there and select Web Safe Colours. Medical Officer Bones
Web safe colours are defunct, and no longer needed. The time that we had only access to 256 colour screens lies far, far behind us.

Medical Officer Bones
From the same website https://cloford.com/resources/colours/websmart1.htm ???? What would be the point of those 4096 'smart' colours? The page doesn't explain why anyone would bother with either limited colour palette. The referred site is interesting from a historical point of view only.
whbsbb
I have a windows version of Designer and there is no websafe colors pull down in Swatches. I see "Pantone" this and that but no websafe.

Medical Officer Bones
@whsbb: Just out of curiosity - why would you need the old web safe colours? Any particular reason? Are you preparing graphics for old 256colour screens?
