robert_muench
I'm using AD to create graphics and then export them to SVG format. When working with named layers those layers get exported with an ID set to the name, so it's easy to reference the group from Javascript. Perfect. But SVG format has a lot of different attributes that can be used. How can I add or specify such values so that these get correctly exported into the SVG file? Staff Callum Posted April 10, 2017 Staff Share Posted April 10, 2017 Hi Robert_Muench, Which values is it that you are trying to specify? C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
robert_muench
Especially things like "pointer-events" when working with groups would make sense. Or CSS classes, so that one can reference and specify behaviour via CSS stylesheets. Mensch Mesch
Staff Callum Posted April 10, 2017 Staff Share Posted April 10, 2017 It isn't possible to do this at the moment but we are working on improving SVG export in the future. I will move this thread to the feature requests section :) C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
robert_muench
Ok, great & thanks. BTW, I think features that better support toolchains like Javascript, CSS, etc. are still pretty unique for graphic programs. So, go for it :-)
b1t_zer0
I am also looking for this functionality. Specifically, I am looking at adding metadata to my SVG exports. Almost everything I do with Designer gets exported to SVG for use in a web application. Normally Icons, but metadata is essential. Examples id classes data-* attributes
