All well and good EXCEPT the workspace doesn't show my contextual toolbar and I can't make alterations to brushes opacity for example as in the video tutorials. Thank you. Go to the top View menu and see if the checkmark is set at the show contextual toolbar submenu entry! - Under worst case conditions, if it is checked, reset the UI completely back to it's initial defaults under preferences!
