Whites and Blacks in adjustment layer

Recommended Posts

Hello guys,

im fresh new on Affinity.

My old workflow included lightroom and PS

I now moved to Capture One Pro and Affinity ...well im on the process of moving...as it's little tricky...

To the question

In Ps with adjustment levels or LR using whites and blacks sliders i have the option pressing ALT while moving the slider, to check the exact moment the picture shows burned areas in case of whites and under exposed areas with blacks. So i can "Scientifically" set the perfect level of whites and blacks and then move to the next part of my job on the picture.

On affine i can't understand how to see this inside the picture while using the adjustment level layer...i can of course modify blacks and whites but it is done exclusively on my eye, without  any kind of real time warning inside the picture...

I'm pretty sure it is me missing something, could anyone help?

Thanks

Luca
