Affinity Designer not displaying a valid SVG correctly

Recommended Posts

I am trying to open the enclosed SVG file with AD 1.5.5 on macOS 10.12.4 which results in the state shown in the screenshot. Other apps (Safari, Firefox, Inkscape) can render the file correctly. Affinity Photo also isn't able to render this file. W3C Validator says it is valid. What can I do to import the SVG file into AD?

There is a Rectangle (Curve) which is working as a mask and thus disabling everything else.

To fix this, either disable that (Curve) or move it down or up so it doesn´t work as a Mask any more.

H2hNdcz.pngedit; the issue is on windows too on both Affinity Photo and Designer so it must be an interpretation issue of the SVG file.
