myclay
Hello Affinity Photo Team :) , could an option get added, which enables an automatic detection and an prompt which asks, if the user wants to reload the currently opened file? Such feature would help when the interchange format got externally edited. Additionally a manual option for reloading the currently opened file would also be nice. Ziflin
It's been 4 years, and I was curious if this was ever implemented? We often need this feature and can't really switch to Affinity Photo without it. Even just a "Reload Current File" hotkey would do.
walt.farrell
No; no progress on this one. The best you can do right now: File > Open Folder in Explorer (you can assign a keyboard shortcut for that if you want). (There's a similar option for Mac users.) Then close the existing file in the Affinity application. Then switch to the Explorer window and open the highlighted file.
