How to change Product Key?

Hi, there!

 

Just a quick question, is there a way to change the Affinity Product Key on a given machine? Or I have to uninstall the Affinity Application, reinstall and then enter another Product Key?

I don't know if there's an officially approved way, but I have 'Product Key' values in the Windows registry at

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Serif\Affinity\Designer\1

and

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Serif\Affinity\Photo\1

I see. Maybe just changing that value will do the trick.

How can I reset to re-enter product key in affininity Designer. I reinstalled the program but it appears already activated with the old license. Today I bought affinity Designer and that problem is what I have.

 

THE FIX

  Hi I fix it deleting a licence file in this hide directory "C://ProgramData/Affinity/here delete folder (photo, designer or publisher)" now open for example Affinity Designer and you got the window to re-enter "email and product key again" and Success

Have you purchased the software? If so, where did you purchase it? You would only have product keys if you purchased directly from Serif, via the Affinity Store. If you purchased from the Microsoft Store or the Mac App Store you do not have product keys. Instead, for those stores, the purchase is tied to your Microsoft or Mac Store account, and no keys are needed.

Hello, how can I change the product key on mac? I have already tried to uninstall and reinstall the programs but it does not make me enter the new product key, it is as if the old one was still in memory

I have the same problem:

I installed a private license first, then I got another license from by employer.

Now I want to change from my private license to my employer's license

but if I reinstall the progam the key is not requested but obviously is remembering

my private license key.
