[BUG - RAW development?] after batch processing RAW -> JPEG pictures are too dark (pictures don't look the same as the RAW(original))

Recommended Posts

Hi there

I am wondering if there is any updates on this issue? I have the same problem.

What I have observed is the develop persona is mostly very good but batch is terrible. Why can't just run develop in batch? I don't care if it take 20 second to develop one in batch, comparing to manually develop all of them (which is almost impossible). That should be hard from a programming point of view right?

I agree with @Darthvirc, though i am just a amateur.

I had a problem with dark files in RAW from a Canon and the solution that worked for me was on this forum last week - on Windows you go to Users and find your profile. Than under AppData/Affinity/Photo, you should see a folder called 1.0. I renamed it to 1.1 and then started the program (some say you need to hold Ctrl while clicking to open but I didn't need to). It generated a fresh 1.0 folder and the settings were perfect. Another user and I submitted copies of the original settings folder and understand this is now with the developers. Some of my files had dates that showed they were from an earlier installation.

Can't guarantee this will sort it, and you may lose some settings (for instance you will see the opening splash again).

Thanks, but this is about something different. Batch processing handles developing of raw images differently than the Develop Persona does.
